the route

L'Estartit Aerodrome enjoys a delightful coastal setting, situated less than a mile from the Mediterranean Sea. During flights of 12 minutes or more, you'll be treated to wonderful views of the River Ter, the beach at L'Estartit, the seven tiny islands that make up the Medes archipelago and the nearby hills of the Macizo de Montgrí.

Flights of 30 minutes or more will take you to the cove of Montgó in L'Escala and the famous archeological ruins at Empúries, site of one of the most ancient cities in Spain, first founded in 575 BC by the Greeks.

Continuing the journey north, flights of 45 minutes or more will fly over the marshlands of Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, a natural park home to a rich variety of aquatic birds.

Flights of 60 minutes, will reach the Bay of Roses and the charming white fishing village of Cadaqués.

Finally, flights of 90 minutes will reach the Cap de Creus, a craggy headland that marks the easternmost point of Spain, before beginning the return journey home.

By the time you land, you should have a camera full of wonderful photographs, so don't forget to bring one along!
