Enjoy a magical new perspective on the famous wine region of La Rioja, with this hot air balloon flight in Haro.
From the excitement of the initial moments as we start the inflation of the balloon to the gentlest of landings conducted by our experienced pilots, we'll ensure your flight is as memorable as it can possibly be.
You'll fly over some of the most beautiful landscapes of the region, including the valley of the River Ebro and the famous Rioja vineyards, with the mountains of the Sierra de Cantabria creating a dramatic backdrop.
You'll enjoy a deep sense of peace and serenity as you glide through the clouds and take in the profound beauty of Earth seen from the air.
Upon descending, and as is traditional, we'll celebrate our adventure with a glass of Riojan cava.
Then, to round up an already perfect morning, a typical Rioja brunch will be waiting for you. You'll be served some of the local delicacies, including cold meats, eggs with tomato, chorizo sausage and bacon, seasonal produce, and of course we’ll wash it all down with some superb Riojan wine.
Season
Monday to Sunday throughout the years.
Special conditions
- Participants must be between 6 y 70 years of age on the date of the flight. Minimum height 1,25 metres.
- Individuals suffering from serious heart or bone conditions or who are considerably overweight are not permitted to fly.
- Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Group size
All our non-private balloon flights depart carrying a minimum of 4 passengers, up to a maximum of 8, depending on the balloon. Contact us if greater capacity is required.
Weather
Adverse weather conditions can sometimes make flying impossible. If your flight is called off for bad weather, a new, alternative date will be offered.
