The perfect introduction to the world of aviation - an unforgettable flight with majestic views and a chance to take the controls yourself.
The flight
We kick things off with a 5-10 minute briefing where we'll touch on the basic principles of flight and introduce you to your captain. There will be a quick inspection of the plane on the tarmac, and then it's time to get airborne!
You'll be flying in a two-seater plane with dual controls which will allow you to assist the pilot in a wide range of manoeuvres, including climbs, descents and banking. (You'll even be able to lend a hand during the approach for landing!).
The route
Throughout the flight you'll be treated to some stunning 360° panoramas of the countryside surrounding the aerodrome, so make sure you don't forget your camera!
Flights of 30 minutes or more will also offer fantastic views of the towns and villages to the west of Madrid, such as Navalcarnero, Brunete, Sevilla la Nueva and Villanueva de la Cañada.
Flights of 45 minutes or more will reach the impressive San Juan Reservoir whose miles and miles of beach throng with sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts during the summer months.
Location
Casarrubios Aerodrome, located 10km from Navalcarnero and 45km from Madrid.
Season
All year (Mon-Sun).
Simultaneous flights
If a couple (or two friends) or even three of you wish to fly at the same time, you can. The two or three planes will fly simultaneously along the same route, and you will be able to communicate with each other by radio. This option is only available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
Participants
The light aircraft is a two-seater plane and so participation is limited to 1 client (the co-pilot) who will fly with an instructor. Guests are welcome to accompany the participant at the aerodrome.
Special conditions
- Individuals suffering from serious heart or bone conditions are not permitted to fly.
- Maximum weight: 120 kg, maximum height: 1,90 metres.
- This experience is suitable for children who are at least 1.40m tall. Minors must be accompanied at the aerodrome by a parent or tutor, who will be asked to sign an authorisation form.
- Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
Weather
Adverse weather conditions can sometimes make flying impossible. If your flight is called off for bad weather, a new, alternative date will be offered.
Additional information
- The aerodrome has a cafeteria so your family and friends can watch you take off and enjoy snacks and refreshments until you land.
- In certain rare circumstances – such as an unforeseen change in the weather or extreme nervousness on the part of the client - the pilot may make the decision NOT to let the client fly the plane for reasons of safety.

A thousand thanks to the instructor Alberto, who explained every little detail to me and who made me enjoy a magnificent flight. When there is passion for teaching it shows I would repeat a thousand times. Everything without complications, from communication with the aerodrome to arrival, the flight and the end of the experience, super friendly and cordial. (Posted on October 23, 2023)

The flight has been beautiful and very didactic. He's even been lucky enough to get through some low cloud, which is quite a spectacle.

Review Very happy with the experience of flying again, with the help of the instructor, and carrying out my big passion: flying. Not so happy because I thought I was going to ride a Tecnam P2002, as indicated in the description of the experience, and it was not like that. What I flew was high wing and the Tecnam P2002 is low wing. My gratitude to the instructor for his patience and professionalism.
