Are you intrigued by the “water sleds” that you have seen descending at full speed through the white waters of the rivers?

This is Hidrospeed, a new generation sport that has gained a lot of popularity in very little time.

Discover why so many fall in love with it in the beautiful Pyrenean town of Llavorsí.

What is hydrospeed?

The " hydro" itself is an aerodynamic board designed to be able to surf alone (similar to the cork boards with which children learn to swim). The body rests on the "hydro" and the feet are equipped with slightly longer diving fins, which serve as a means of propulsion.

The sensation is like surfing in the river. , since the currents propel you and thus reach speed.

Introduction

The descent takes place in the picturesque town of Llavorsí, point of confluence of the imposing valleys of the Alt Pallars, and one of the most popular destinations for active tourism.

Here, among stone houses, slate roofs and majestic mountain ranges, you will meet your guides.

After receiving all the equipment you need (wetsuit, helmet, vest, fins and of course, the Water Sled itself) the expert guides will explain how to use it.

They will also teach you some of the basic concepts of the sport.

Route

The 9km route begins in a stretch of calm waters that allow the practice of everything type of turns, overturns and recoveries.

But, after those initial 3km, things change!

From that moment on, you have to deal with the rapids!

And get ready because they are not going to give you a break until you reach the Gulleri Bridge, where you can take a break if you need it.

Regain your strength because in the next 4km important challenges await you like the “Angel Falls”, a real adrenaline rush and a challenge for your skill and physical fitness!

The tour ends in a place known as the Island, the bifurcation point of the Noguera Pallaresa River.

And remember that throughout the tour you will be supervised and guided by expert guides.

End of the tour

After being transferred to the initial meeting point, you can take a shower and enjoy the incomparable views of the Pyrenees from the restaurant's terrace.
