Experience one of the most beautiful regions of the Iberian Peninsula from the air, with this wonderful hot air balloon flight in Guadix, just 60km from the city of Granada.

The adventure begins bright and early: first we inflate the balloon together, then we check the wind and prepare the basket. Once everything is ready, we'll ignite the burner and let the warm air lift us gently heavenwards.

The direction of our journey will depend on the wind, but whether floating in silence over the magnificent Guadix Cathedral, or admiring the ancient iron-ore mines of Alquife, or the white chimneys of Guadix's iconic cave dwellings, this is a flight where excitement and stunning views are guaranteed, with the white peaks of the Sierra Nevada as a spectacular, ever-present back-drop.

Upon landing, we'll celebrate the flight with a traditional breakfast - the perfect climax to a magical experience.

Throughout the year. Contact us to check availability.

Balloon flights take place at sunrise, first thing in the morning (changes depending on the month of year). Dawn is the most favorable and safe moment to charter a balloon flight because the thermal currents are more stable.

Special Conditions

  • Minimum height 1.20m.
  • Individuals suffering from serious heart or bone conditions or who are considerably overweight are not permitted to fly.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
  • Minimum age 6 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Group size

All non-private balloon flights depart carrying a minimum of 6 passengers, up to a maximum of 30. Contact us if greater capacity is required.

Weather

Adverse weather conditions can sometimes make flying impossible. If your flight is called off for bad weather, an alternative date will be offered.
