Intrigued by the "Water Sledges" that you have seen descend at full speed through the whitewater of the rivers?

This is Hydrospeed, a new generation sport that has gained a lot of popularity in very little time.

Discover why he falls in love with so many in the framework of the beautiful Pyrenean town of Llavorsí.

What is the hydrospeed?

The "hydro "in itself is an aerodynamic iron designed to be able to navigate in a solitary way (similar to the cork boards with which children learn to swim). In the "hydro" the body is supported, and the feet are provided with diving fins, a little longer, which serve as means of propulsion.

The feeling is like surfing in the river , as the currents drive you and thus reach speed.

Introduction

The descent takes place in the picturesque town of Llavorsí, point of confluence of the imposing valleys of Alt Pallars, and one of the most popular destinations for the practice of active tourism.

Here, among stone houses, slate roofs and majestic mountain ranges, you will meet your guides.

After receiving all the equipment you need (neoprene suit, helmet, vest, fins and of course, the Water Sled itself) the expert guides will explain how to use it.

They will also teach you some of the basic concepts of sport.

Route

The 9km route starts in a stretch of calm water that allows you to practice everything type of turns, rollovers and recoveries.

But, after those initial 3km, things change!

From then on, you have to deal with the rapids!

And get ready because you are not going to give up until you reach the Gulleri Bridge, where you can take a break if you need it.

Recover your strength because in the next 4km important challenges await you such as the "Angel Falls", a rush of adrenaline and a challenge for your skill and fitness!

The tour ends in a place known as the Island, point of fork of the river Noguera Pallaresa.

And remember that throughout the tour you will be supervised and guided by expert guides.

After being transferred to the initial meeting point, you can take a shower and enjoy the incomparable views of the Pyrenees from the terrace of the premises.
