Feel like a commercial pilot for a day by living a total immersion experience in our Boeing 747-400 Flight Simulator. The maximum realism of the flight model (aircraft handling), systems, exterior view of scenarios, weather, etc., allows us to configure the flight experience according to the user's requirements to combine enjoyment and learning.
The realism of procedures, safety, and economy of real operation, with the participation and coordination of ground personnel teams, in real operations. The 100% real experience would be long and tedious, similar to watching a video-documentary, since manual interaction is minimal.
Currently, aviation safety and mechanical reliability are no longer critical points; the weak link is the human factor. That's why in real operation, human action is restricted to minimum safety management, economy, and air traffic management along with Traffic Control, to optimize the number of operations in the air and at airports.
We have designed an experience that combines realism with learning and fun, adaptable to the user's preferences, making it very suitable for the user's age, knowledge, and experience goals. Objectives could range from helping to overcome the fear of flying by understanding how an airplane works and how one system interacts with another and its redundancy in case of failure, to fun and learning by manually interacting with aircraft handling and its systems.
The experience has several phases:
- Startup of the aircraft, explaining how one system interacts with another in a logical order, explaining what each one does.
- A short and relaxed flight, taking off from a chosen airport and landing at the same or another nearby airport. The objective of this flight is to acclimate and get the feel of the aircraft controls at full size, both for beginners and for those who have a simulator at home with usually small-sized controls that are extremely sensitive.
- Carrying out a departure and arrival trip to chosen airports depending on the experience's duration. Airports at a certain distance can be chosen since the cruise flight can be shortened by increasing the terrain advance speed. In this part, we can see how the autopilot works.
Depending on the chosen time, these phases can be more extensive and relaxed, but the goal is to complete them all, regardless of the chosen duration.
Weather and time of day for each simulation phase can also be chosen to see various possibilities of light and environmental visibility.
IN THE 1-HOUR SESSION
This is the most compressed. We will:
- Startup of the Boeing 747-400.
- You will learn to follow the necessary steps to perform a complete takeoff, reach the necessary altitude, and initiate air navigation procedures to return to the airport or a nearby airport.
- Complete takeoff and landing at the same airports (from the previous point) or two other chosen airports.
- The other possibility (to choose) is to make landings and takeoffs at one or two nearby airports.
Because descent and approach must be done in real-time, a large distance between airports on the journey cannot be chosen as this also requires climbing to a high altitude, which prolongs the descent to the destination airport.
At the end of the 1-hour experience, you will have learned the basic procedures and how to perform the two most complex maneuvers in a simulated 425-ton aircraft.
IN THE 90-MINUTE SESSION
Clarifying that these are proposals to give an idea of the time involved and its possibilities, but the experience can be customized to the user's preferences.
- Startup of the Boeing 747-400.
- Aclimatization flight with a complete takeoff, reaching the necessary altitude, initiating maneuvers and speed and configuration variations, air navigation to return to the airport or a nearby airport... and making an approach with a complete landing.
- Complete takeoff and landing at the chosen airports. This option already allows separation between airports to reach altitudes usual for making real-time descents.
- The other possibility (to choose) is to make landings and takeoffs at one or two more distant airports. Go and return.
- You will learn to work with the autopilot, headings, altitudes, and speeds, just as it is done in real life flying from one airport to another.

Participants
1 person + 5 guests who can attend the experience and explanations. At certain times, a guest will be able to sit on the right side of the cabin and share with the person who is having the experience.
Additional information
Minimum age of the participant: approximately 10 years old. Please check with us if height is less than 1.40m.
