Skydiving in Matilla de los Caños (Valladolid)

ref: 3654

Location: Matilla de los Caños (Valladolid)

Duration: 1 hour

Participants: 1 person

What's included?:

  • Safety briefing with monitor.
  • Equipment: jumpsuit, harness, helmet, gloves and glasses.
  • Ascent in light aircraft to 4000 metres (13000 feet).
  • Tandem parachute jump with instructor including a freefall of 60 seconds..
  • Parachute descent of 10 minutes.
  • Option to add photos and video recording to your jump.

There's no sensation on earth that can compare with the thrill of your first skydive. The adrenaline rush of the jump, those first intense seconds of free fall, followed by the sudden jolt and slowdown as the parachute opens.

And then the smooth, incredibly peaceful descent back to solid earth, as you glide gently across the sky towards the landing zone, the breeze ruffling your hair and magnificent vistas stretching out for kilometers beneath your feet.

A truly mind-blowing experience that you will remember forever.

What do you get?

  • First you'll meet your qualified instructor and receive a safety briefing, where we explain exactly what you can expect from your jump and provide you with all the necessary equipment. (15 mins duration)
  • Next our plane will fly us to our jumping altitude of approximately 13000ft. This is the point when the doors open, and the wind enters and swirls around inside the plane. It's hard to put into words how exciting and nerve-wracking this moment is!
  • Still securely attached to your instructor, you'll make your way to the door and... JUMP! Before you know it, you'll be plummeting towards the earth, enjoying an incredible 60 seconds of freefall.
  • Finally your instructor will deploy the chute and you'll begin the gentle journey back to terra firma. (10 mins duration).

Video & photos

If you book a video recording of your jump, your instructor will film your adventure on a handycam, capturing your emotions and excitement at each step of the way, from the briefing and the plane journey through to the skydive itself. They’ll even record your post-jump reaction for posterity!
