Imagine soaring high above the rolling hills and fields of the Catalan countryside, where the only sound is the sound of the breeze!
This breathtaking glider flight takes off from the aerodrome in Igualada. Towed skywards by a light aircraft (a Cessna O-1 “Birdog” o Morane Saulnier Rallye 180), we'll ascend to 800 metres.
Once we reach our target altitude, we’ll unclip the attaching cable and fly totally free, gliding on the currents and eddies, as effortlessly as the birds outside our window.
During the flight you'll be treated to some truly wonderful views: depending on the weather conditions they can include the famous monastery of Montserrat, the towns of Igualada and Manresa, the Mediterranean Sea, and on particularly clear days, even the distant peaks of the Pyrenees.
A truly majestic flying experience, impossible to forget!
Season
Saturdays throughout the year. For other dates, consult in advance with emocionday, in high season we may have greater availability.
Special conditions
- Participants must be in good health.
- Weight limit: between 45-90kg fully clothed. Participants weighing between 90kg and 95Kg please get in touch before purchasing. Maximum height: 1,90m.
- Pregnant women are not permitted to fly.
- Minimum age: 8 (with parental authorisation).
Participants
One person per flight. The glider is a two seater plane and the participant will be seated alongside the pilot. Guests may accompany the participant to the aerodrome.
Weather
Adverse weather conditions can sometimes make flying impossible. If your flight is called off for bad weather, a new, alternative date will be offered.
Other advice
Please wear sunplasses, sports shoes and comfortable clothes.

I went to enjoy this experience that they gave me for my 40th birthday without really knowing what I was going to find. It exceeded all my expectations.Review
The staff's attention was perfect and they explained everything very well.
We were the entire family. My children and my wife stayed on the ground while I was flying, when they returned they told me that they were enjoying the moment.
The experience in the air is spectacular and I also learned how it works and why the glider plans hehehe... I will definitely repeat and my wife will try it! (Posted on September 27, 2023)

We started at 500 m but managed to get up to 1300 m of height thanks to weather so we could extend for about an hour. Unfortunately the pilot had other flights so we had to go down very quickly and I didn't have much of a chance for piloting given that he had been trying to go up for quite long.
